HOPE Mural Painted at The Lab The HOPE Mural was thegluenetwork.com's first live mural painting to raise awareness for non-profit organizations and as a launch event for the Bridge website. Visitors to the site can upload content as art, video or photos in support of one of the featured causes. Each upload represents 1 mile and for every mile uploaded, $1 is donated by donors to a selected cause. The goal is to get enough miles to circle the globe, 24,902. The Mural event was held at The Lab in Costa Mesa and featured the following artists who painted their interpretations of the theme, HOPE: Caleb Aero, Blaine Fontana, Persue, Ginger Che, Joey Altobelli, Lucy McClauchlan, Matt Watkin, Paul Drohan, Toomer, Andy Howell, Christina Carlos, Hillary Amborn, Eduardo Valdivieso, Kelsey Brookes, Matt Gordon, Mike Kershnar, Adam Libby, Timothy McCormick. The event also featured a live T-shirt screening with graphics donated by artists and an area set up for visitors to voice their support for the non-profit organizations: StandUp for Kids, Keep A Breast Foundation, 30 Hour Famine, Youth AIDS, Surfrider Foundation, World Vision, Invisible Children, Natural High (Sundt Memorial Foundation), Save Darfur Make Trade Fair, Unicef and Healing Waters International.
